Once again, Brandon Medical’s products are being featured in a new blockbuster movie!

Medical lighting products designed and produced by Brandon Medical are featured in Marvel’s newest theatrical release: Doctor Strange, starring Sherlock’s Benedict Cumberbatch as the surgeon turned sorcerer supreme. The hit film received positive reviews from critics and has been a box office success, grossing over £400 million worldwide. Based on the comics of the same name, the film follows the story of the world’s top neurosurgeon, Stephen Strange, who is injured in a tragic car accident that damages his hands beyond repair.

His desperate search for a miracle cure leads him to a world of mysticism and alternate dimensions, brought to life with mind-bending visual effects. With his newfound power, he must choose whether to return to his successful career or defend the world from evil forces.

Brandon’s Quasar® eLite QE60 features in an explosive operating theatre scene featuring cast members Cumberbatch and Rachel McAdams, providing an authentic look to the set and not to mention an impressive and unrivalled light intensity.

The state-of-the-art, HD-LED operating theatre light looks right at home in the sci-fi universe that the film is set.

The Quasar® eLite QE60 offers fat beam technology with the largest light beams of any current product. It also boasts near perfect colour rendition, providing natural and accurate visualisation of the area to be operated on.

This is not the first time Brandon Medical products have been featured on screen. They can be spotted in action thriller Criminal, Channel 4’s Supervet and Sky 1’s Critical, amongst others.
