Dubai Camel Hospital, opened in December 2017, is the first hospital of its kind in the world, it features state of the art medical equipment and pristine operating theatres.

Brandon Medical was happy to install many of their products within the AED40 Million facility, visited by Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.

Products installed include two Quasar eLite surgical lights, (complete with monitor arms and embedded cameras), two Atlas ceiling supply pendants, and one iTCP theatre control panel complete with Brandon Medical’s Entoli user interface.

The hospital was opened with the intention of helping within the research and development of camel medicine. With this in mind, the hospital features a specially made ‘race track’ for camels to use while recovering.

‘The camel industry is an evolving industry and we’re very much marrying the old ways with the state of the art technology’ said Dr. Chan, Principle surgeon, Dubai Camel Hospital.
