Reinsberg Group Aquires Tedisel Medical

Tedisel Medical was founded in 1995 in Badalona, near Barcelona. The company has approximately 70 employees and specializes in the development and manufacture of hospital equipment for inpatient wards, intensive care units, critical care areas and operating rooms. Its product range includes technical panels, ceiling-mounted pendants and systems, bedhead units and software solutions for operating rooms. The company’s products are represented in healthcare facilities in more than 80 countries.

“Tedisel Medical brings to Reinsberg Group a product portfolio that fits well with the offering of the other companies in the group. This includes equipment for operating rooms, intensive care and the technical infrastructure of hospitals. As a result, we will be able to offer customers a broader and more integrated solution while strengthening Reinsberg Group’s position in complex hospital projects,” says Jan Izák, Chairman of the Board of Reinsberg Group.

Tedisel Medical’s manufacturing capacity in Spain is also an important part of the transaction. Reinsberg Group is gaining an additional European production base for the further development of its medtech portfolio.

Tedisel also has long-standing experience in Latin America, which is important for us as we continue to develop our presence in Spanish-speaking markets,” adds Dr. Markus Keussen, CEO of Reinsberg Group.

Tedisel Medical is becoming part of Reinsberg Group, which belongs to the portfolio of investment firm BHM group. For Reinsberg Group, this is another step in building a European group of specialized manufacturers and technology companies for healthcare. Alongside ALVO Medical, Brandon Medical, FAMED Żywiec, medifa, PROTEC and Rein Medical, Tedisel Medical brings additional product expertise in hospital infrastructure, operating rooms and intensive care.

The acquisition also strengthens Reinsberg Group’s manufacturing and commercial base. Tedisel Medical has its own production in Spain, more than three decades of experience, and commercial activities in more than 80 countries. The group is therefore gaining additional European manufacturing capacity and a stronger connection to Spanish-speaking markets, including Latin America.
